Today I want to talk about something I've been seeing across nearly every expert and consultant I work with at AdOutreach.
The Big Idea: Attention is not authority.
Most experts I meet are obsessed with view counts. They chase the algorithm, post more content, jump on every trend, and somehow still end the month wondering why their pipeline is dry.
I've watched this happen for years. And after generating over $250M in revenue for our clients, I can tell you with confidence that views and revenue are two completely different games.
You can rack up 10,000 views and still have a zero-dollar bank account. Why? Because views don't build trust. Views don't pre-qualify leads. Views don't turn cold viewers into high-value clients.
Authority does.
What "Authority" Actually Looks Like
When you operate as an authority instead of a content creator, three things happen:
Your videos pre-sell prospects before they ever hop on a call.
You stop competing on entertainment and start competing on trust.
The right clients self-select in. The wrong ones filter out.
That's the shift I want you to make this week.
If you want the full system for it, I just released a new book called Video Authority that walks you through it step by step. It's the same framework we use internally at AdOutreach.
Stop chasing attention. Start building authority.
I'll see you in the next one.
To your success,
Aleric Heck | Founder & CEO, AdOutreach
